Lakeland, FL (October 20, 2026) — AP4 has expanded its global power generation capabilities with the launch of AP4 Installation Services, led by Padraig O’Malley, Vice President of Installation Services.
The new offer adds comprehensive new build installation and project execution capabilities to AP4’s portfolio of Turbine Services, Control Solutions, and Parts and Repair. Installation Services provides turbine centerline execution, integrated field supervision, commissioning support, specialized technical services, and skilled craft resources for power generation projects worldwide.
The expansion reflects AP4’s continued investment in technical expertise and field capability, with a focus on providing customers with experienced teams that can take ownership of critical scopes while working closely with owners, EPC contractors, OEMs, and other project partners.
End-to-end installation expertise
AP4 Installation Services supports turbine centerline projects from initial soleplate installation through final installation, system integration, and commissioning. Our teams coordinate across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and controls (I&C) interfaces to support proper alignment, performance, and execution.

Padraig O’Malley joins the AP4 leadership team as Vice President of Installation Services. With more than 20 years of experience in the power generation and energy industries, he leads AP4’s global technical and installation services, overseeing turbine centerline installation, technical field services, and the deployment of skilled craft labor for projects around the world.
Prior to joining AP4, O’Malley served as Director of Operations at Atlantic Projects Company (APC), where he led the execution of major EPC, outage, commissioning, and maintenance projects across Europe and North America. His experience spans the full project lifecycle, supporting owners, EPC contractors, and OEMs in the delivery of critical power generation infrastructure.
O’Malley holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Munster Technological University and a master’s degree in project management from the University of Limerick. Based in western Ireland, he provides technical leadership to AP4’s global teams with a focus on safe, high-quality project execution.
