Greg Young, CEO of AP4 Group, Announces Retirement and Successor

Greg Young, the CEO of AP4 Group, has announced his decision to step down from his role as he begins his transition into retirement. Greg has worked closely with the Board of Directors to ensure a smooth leadership transition and will continue to support AP4 as a Senior Strategic Advisor to AP4 Group and the Board of Directors.

After leading the company for more than a decade, during which AP4 Group evolved from a gas turbine parts distributor into a globally recognized maintenance solutions provider for gas and steam turbines with operations on five continents, he now passes the torch to his successor, commenting, “I would like to thank AP4’s private equity owners, Pfingsten Partners, Cloud Investment Partners and First Reserve for their support during my tenure as CEO; it was a pleasure working with such supportive owners. It was an honor to lead the AP4 team through a period of significant growth in its evolution as a comprehensive critical maintenance solutions provider.  Lastly, I would like to thank our customers and OEM partners for their loyalty and professionalism over the years. There is no doubt I will miss the regular interaction with the people I’ve been blessed to work with. Thank you all!”

The Board has selected Randy Willis as the new Chief Executive Officer of AP4 Group. Randy brings over 35 years of experience in the energy industry, having started his career as a field engineer and later leading regional and global service businesses. With his deep understanding of the power generation industry and previous experience serving on the AP4 Group Board of Directors, Randy is eager to continue driving the company’s growth and collaborating with the talented AP4 team to support their customers.

Greg expresses his utmost confidence in Randy’s ability to lead AP4 Group into its next chapter and joins the entire AP4 team in welcoming him to his new role.
